To make Velvet leather, the outer layer of the calfskin is used, then the leather must be sanded from the outside of the hide to give it the final velvet touch. Velvet is more appreciated than suede or nubuck the vast majority of the time, this is because the outer layer of calfskin is more resistant than the inner part used for suede and therefore, logically, it is stronger and will last longer.
At first glance, velvet and suede or nubuck look similar, but in reality they are created and treated differently.Sizes: 18mm | 20mm | 22mm
